How it all started...
On July 8, 1956, East Union Mennonite began a daughter congregation in Kalona. By July 15, 1958, Kalona Mennonite Church became an independent congregation. In 1966, the congregation moved to the present site and continued to grow in earnest.

Expanding the vision...
The congregation sees Kalona as their community to live into. They sponsor the local Food Pantry and host community events like blood drives.
Where we are headed...
We continue to discuss how to better serve the community and new ideas are being considered.
